The 1st International Forum on Women’s Brain and Mental Health was the first worldwide attempt at fostering an interdisciplinary discussion with patients, caregivers, regulators, policymakers, industry, artificial intelligence experts and academic scientists on the role of sex and gender in the management and treatment of brain and mental diseases.
The event featured a high-level scientific program, organized in four panel discussions. It brought together 150 international leaders from the broad neuroscience community, as well as patients suffering of mental diseases and caregivers. It was a showcase event organized by the Women’s Brain Project, and this first one was done in collaboration with the Global Alliance for Women’s Brain Health and The Lancet Psychiatry.
